Anthony "AM." Andrade

Anthony "AM." Andrade (they/them/theirs) is an interdisciplinary visual, performance, and teaching artist from Providence, RI. As the Visual + Media Arts Manager at AS220 Youth, they offer their expertise in 2-D Design, Digital Music Production, Performance, Photography, Film, Social-Emotional Learning, and Youth Culture and have been leading classes at AS220's Downtown Studio, Nowell Academy and with incarcerated youth at The Rhode Island Training School.

AM. received their Wellness and Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher Certification (CYT-200) from Breathe for Change and is currently training as a Rhode Island certified Community Health Worker.

AM. has released seven self-produced and -engineered albums. Their work explores the health of Self-identity and grapples with human ego. With years of training in Hip-hop and Acro, they have a fierce passion for teaching and learning movement and is an active member of New Works/World Traditions Dance Company and The Haus of Glitter Dance Company.

Finding healing and liberation in sharing life-long personal studies of Anti-Oppression Philosophy and Holistic Care, AM. enjoys meditation, camping, making costumes, gardening and vegan cooking.
